from your son after he returns home from "behind the wheel" for Driver's Education...
"Did you know the brakes on the passenger's side of the car can completely override the driver even if he is flooring it?"
or...
"There is no more class until they get the car fixed."
Yep, my smart ass son Nick thought these would be good comments to make about his first time driving with the instructor. Add a couple more grey hairs to my head.

It would be the other way round in my house as all my kids can drive and I can't! lol
Oh! At least he was with the instructor and not with you.
I would totally have made those same comments to my mom to get her reaction!
When I learned how to drive, my teacher was insane. We went out on the highway and were going through a construction zone and he kept telling me I was a chicken for not going faster than the speed limit. Weirdo!
And Amanda wonders why I am in no hurry for her to get her license?!?
That was kind of funny, I guess he was just trying to get on your nerves...
It's sorta funny when someone else's kid says it, but I dread the day my twins start driving! A little over 3 years still.
That's really funny. :-) At least yours wants to drive. My daughter will be 17 on Thursday and we practically have to bribe her to get behind the wheel. Seriously. It's a pain. It's a life skill, and she needs to learn it.
