I must admit that after being seriously upset when Jamar Rogers, also from Milwaukee, did not make the final 36, I was ecstatic to know Danny would be on the show to prove WI has talent, and is not just the butt of jokes. He sure rocked the show Tuesday night and I cannot be happier that he is in the top 12. I am also very happy to see that Michael Sarver earned a spot in the top 12 as well. Alexis Grace, to be honest, I could take her or leave her. None of the girls really blew me away with their singing, and I think it is going to be another year where the guys rule the show, but I am willing to be proven wrong. The wild card show is really when people are going to have to bring their A game.
Truth moment here, I would be happy to see Tatiana del Toro, Nathaniel Marshall, and Nick Mitchell/Norman Gentle go right now. I admit Tatiana has a voice, she is just annoying. Same with Nick, or is it Norman. Nathaniel I just never felt he had talent, and thus it still depresses me that they sent Jamar packing to keep him.
So, what are your feelings on the first round?

i watched american idol too last night in Star Movies... i like him but Tatiana del Toro very good voice too....
I'm just glad Tatiana is gone. Man that girl drove me crazy!!!
I've only watched bits and pieces of the show so far but I was quite thrilled when Danny beat out Tatiana whom I thought was about as irritating as they come! She couldn't even seem to pretend to be happy for him. What a drama queen!
I think quite a few people wish Tatiana was gone, if lunchroom talk is a basis. Heard Danny's name on the radio today.
He is amazing! I was glad an Arkansas Kris also got through. It'll be a great competition this year.
