What to Do with Your Weekend

Head out to one of our many beautiful State Parks here in Wisconsin, Point Beach. Located along Lake Michigan, home of the Rawley Point Lighthouse (pictured), and including more than 2900 acres of beautiful forest, and six miles of sandy beach. We popped over to reserve a beautiful cabin for a Boy Scout winter event in January. The cabin overlooks the dunes above the lake and will be a great place for our troop's annual winter sports Olympics. I may even have to attend this event. We enjoyed a nice hike by the lighthouse which is beautiful, and hiked to the water's edge, just to watch the waves and maybe catch a glimpse of a big ship, sadly no ships, but such a beautiful moment in time...

Then we ended our Saturday with a little fishing on the Fox River in Menasha on our way back home.
Sunday we spent the day working at the annual Rock and Gem show, serving food. It is a great fundraiser that helps the boys attend summer camp each summer. We also must admit that the Bartotto Bunch has a thing for rocks and gems and we love to go around and see all the exhibits. I wish that I would have had time to attend some of the speaker presentations also.

All in all it was a rewarding, relaxing weekend for the family and I wouldn't change a thing.

Fox River - that was the name of the prison in the first two seasons of Prison Break! I've got Prison Break on the brain because it comes on tonight, and I need to catch up by 3 episodes already.
