Home Education Week Wraps Up with Our Goals for the Future

Photobucket
Thanks to Dana for hosting this wonderful event!

Looking Forward Saturday, April 5
What are your goals for home education? What do you hope to instill in your children? Are you planning any changes to how you educate your children?

Looking ahead I hope to provide my children with an education that allows them to pursue the careers of their choice. I want to cater to their interests and cover the basics that will allow them to succeed in life. Books aren't everything, life skills are also important and I promise that all of my children will be self sufficient by age 18, in the sense they can clean, cook, and do laundry.
I also hope to be the mother of 2 Eagle Scouts and a Venture Crew member.

Life skills are SO important.
I want my kids prepared to be on their own, too.
I have enjoyed getting to know you this week - - and thanks for visiting me!
Thanks for sharing!

We never got to this. The ends of our weeks are insane; 2 late nights in a row traipsing around on the mainland with boats breaking down in the middle of the channel on the way home (less stressful than on the way TO!)& I am one growly, crotchety, sore mama! I just want to survive! =D
